About
Iulia Marginean is a researcher in the Climate Impacts Group.
She is a PhD candidate, focusing on the negative effects of climate change on human health. Her PhD is linked to the EmCliC project - Embodying Climate Change: Transdiciplinary Research on Urban Overheating - at CICERO, being carried out through the Meteorology and Oceanography Section at the University of Oslo. Iulia graduated from an Erasmus Mundus programme in environmental engineering and management (MSc. Joint European Master in Environmental Studies). She is interested in the synergies between climate science and other disciplines, such as epidemiology and demography. Her work relies on high-resolution climate modeling and the analysis of health and demographic data for local climate risk assessments.
