Marie Byskov Lindberg is a senior researcher in the Climate Policy Group at Cicero. She is an expert on energy and climate policy in Norway, the Nordics and the EU.
Lindberg is a social scientist (sociology and political science) and holds a PHD in innovation studies from the University of Oslo. She has more than 15 years of professional experience in analyzing measures and policies for zero-emission solutions in the energy and industry sectors. Lindberg has worked in several academic institutions, interest organizations and the German Government. Recent and ongoing projects involve studies of the European governance regulation, European electricity market regulations (network codes and guidelines), Norwegian solar energy policy, and potential effects of ocean wind deployment in Norway. She employs various social science methods, including qualitative interviews, document analysis and economic assessments.
